No reason to own this when you can have a vastly superior, brushless 805 at Costco for $65 more.

Missed BF deal. Got it for $330 on Cyber Monday through Target.

Returning it. Getting this deal instead, now if I can just find a coupon to BBB that isn't expired...

Sign up with a new email on Bed Bath and Beyond's site. It will set up a coupon with the email and remove it on the checkout page when you put in that email. I signed up with my email today to make sure it worked and it did or at least as of a few hours ago.

I second this. This vacuum is a waste of money. It is a weak carpet sweeper at best with zero suction and missing many areas due to random algorithm

Does the 805 have any WiFi/Alexa compatibility

I got this vacuum on a front page post I did from Best Buy pre black-friday... the algorithm is garbage and random... not at all efficient.

I read deep into the reviews people posted about the vacuum posted here:

https://slickdeals.net/f/10987791-xiaomi-mi-smart-robot-vacuum-cleaner-250-free-shipping

I bought mine just before thanksgiving, thought -- here goes nothing...

THE THING IS A BEAST! Hands down. Best for the money! Real time mapping of your house and an actual "lawn-mowing" type pattern that gets every spot in your house. I absolutely love the thing!

I have a co-worker who bought the roomba 900+(?) model, top of the line one... we compared features of the apps... the darn xiaomi app is legit compared to the roomba 900 features... I quickly returned my roomba 690... haven't looked back

8xx series works on all floor surfaces.

6xx series is crap. Don't bother.

The Roomba 980 works the best on carpet because it has the most suction (it's also about 2x as expensive), but the 8xx series pull up more stuff out of your carpet daily than you can imagine being there.

I'm looking for a carpet vac that can clean up the human hair (lots in fact). Recently purchased roomba 960 (still in box). Should I exchange for 980?

Not sure if you would recommend any other powerful vac like dyson or such instead of roomba? Have an older model of dyson which is not good at sucking hair.
