Osaka is a nice city , very traditional , US passport doesnt need visa to enter Japan

Osaka is home to the worst slum in all of Japan. Sometimes, there's even liter on the street!

Japan only has two "slums". The worst of the two is the one in Osaka. The other is in Tokyo. But as you said, a slum in Japan would be a darn good neighborhood in the US.
