I personally prefer Echo over Google Home/Mini. Kinda tired of saying "Ok Google" or "Hey Google" everytime I want to give command. "Alexa" is easier on the tongue.
Echo can make calls and stream to Fire Stick/TV.

Nice deal for those wanting or already invested into the Echo ecosystem. Even more appealing is no state sales tax for most people and that Best Buy ran a similar promo on its Google Home Mini's during Black Friday ($30 with $10 GC).
