He doesn't want you to find it because what he failed to mention was that deal was a refurb scratch and dent from the outlet and was the i5 configuration not an i7. Also only 8gb ram and no additional 1tb hdd on the refurbs.

That is false. The dell on sale the other day for that price had a gtx 1050 4gb and an i5 7300hq. Also had no ssd.

"Meh, if this had SLI 1080Tis with 64GB RAM and an i7-8700K with a Vive and an Oculus Rift and 2TB M.2 RAID and a pony plus 100 Apple stocks and a round trip ticket to The Bahamas for $280 like the Fry's deal yesterday, it'd be worth it. Don't believe me? Google it, noob."

Meh. Same laptop was $587 the other day from Dell. You can pickup a MR headset on ebay/CL for $200.
Link please?

This looks like the same laptop as the one that from the dell cyber monday sale. I need to look closer at the specs but if it is, maybe i can cancel mine as it still hasn't shipped yet and I won't have to deal with a SD rebate.

This deal might be for all VR capable laptops at microcenter, I havent checked but its likely

*Just checked the site, seems like a mixed bag. If you do a search for "vr laptop" on their site you can see which laptops qualify for the deal.

Kinda wish I hadn't bought the 7577 refurb the other day. I have to buy an extra 8gb ram for it anyways and I could certainly put the extra threads of the i7 to work. Could probably use the MR headset for some projects too.

I got 7577 from dell and I am returning it as the bezel in the bottom is made of cheap plastic. The cooling is excellent though but overall poor quality!

Look in the upper left. There's a box that says "What are you looking for?". Click in that box. Type 7577. Hit the button to the right. Viola.
I can't find it. Could you help me with a direct link?

7577 has different flavors.

Thanks!

I wonder how much better the i7 7700 is than the i5 7300 that you often see on the sub 1k version of this
