Great price on a good monitor. I had one of these until I upgraded to a bigger one last month.

Is Asus the company that takes forever to pay rebates?

Sale ends Sunday 12/10. Good price. Perhaps it can settle at this level -- same as black Friday and a sale in October.

This is the monitor I'd likely buy again. This monitor has been around since 2011; mine are 4 years old. There are more than 8,000 reviews on Amazon.

I don't recall having issues on my Asus rebates. Rebates occasionally keep me from buying what I don't really need.

I've had this monitor since the summer of 2016 and it's pretty good. However, mine has 2 dead pixels and the contrast seems to shift some while viewing the monitor up at an angle. But it hasn't been that big of a deal for me though I wish it didn't have the contrast issue.

It's a very good price for the monitor as I think I paid over $120.

If VESA isn't important for me (single monitor setup), is this still a great deal or are there other vesa-less options that would be better?

It seems like you may not know what VESA is. It is just the holes in the back of the screen to mount on walls, etc:

If you do not care about it, it is a good deal if you only have a one monitor setup. Note that this particular monitor has 2 x HDMI so you can hook up a gaming console along with your PC, etc.

Thanks, no I knew that's what VESA is, I've just seen a lot of monitor deals here where people comment about VESA/no VESA so seeing that I'll just use the stand it comes with, I didn't know if VESA was something you necessarily pay extra for (and thus I should wait for another no vesa deal...)

Nope. I usually get my ASUS rebated 6 weeks after I send it in. Their site says 6-10 weeks.

Might buy this again. Which would make 4 Smilie

Thanks to California, tax plus recycling fee adds nearly $15 to the price.

Bought 2 during the last sale. Very happy with the performance and picture quality. Not using for gaming, just moderate office work. Set up dual monitors on this Mount-it stand - https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Comp...al+monitor

good deal. I have this. Bought it 4 years ago for $150 from newegg. My complaints are the menus and the inputs on the back are a PIA to use.

Move to a state that doesn't charge recycling fees nor sales tax
