It won't let me rotate my monitor from landscape to portrait orientation and vice versa, will it?

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't quite get your point about Dells. Isn't swiveling 90 degrees (to each side) the most you would need on a wall mount? Swivel it any further and the monitor turns toward the wall, no?

Happens to me all the time, LOL. I just realized that, even though this product doesn't rotate, I can most likely use it to mount a monitor in portrait orientation by screwing it on that way. Sure, that's not as convenient as on-the-fly rotation, but a serviceable alternative given my needs.

Yes, I think so. If google didn't fail me this monitor supports 100x100 VESA and is less than 40 lbs. I'm no expert but it looks compatible to me
