LIFX bulbs are nice. I have several of the prior generation and they are stellar.

Not a bad price of you can deal with the bulbs locking up and needing a power cycle. A bulb with an OS that locks up... Who would have thought.

Or have they resolved this?

I saw this. I was hoping you guys would find a way to get it down in the 30 or 20-something dollar mark.

It have they resolved this?
I have the latest generation and they never do that to me. Although, twice in the last week, I had an issue where Alexa wouldn't shut off my lamp. I had to use the LIFX app.

The + bulbs have the IR emitters to help security cameras see in the dark.

I bought 7 of the regular color bulbs during black Friday week and they work absolutely flawless. Love them.

I also bought the Phillips Hue kit and they are going back. Lifx app and brightness much better.

Yes I have them for more than a month, other than initial set up being frustrating they never locked up on me.

From what I read the metal recessed are what makes them hard to connect to the WiFi signal, which is why they keep dropping signal, even though they're close to the router.
