Thanks, picked one up. 15% off seems to be about as good as it gets on eshop cards. I've usually been big on physical, but with the portability of the Switch, I've been more digital now.

Sweet, but does Nintendo eShop run deals as often as Best Buy or Toy R us? I know it's convenient to purchase downloadable copies, but I don't mind game cards if I can save some $$$.

No, eshop doesn't seem to run deals as often as physical stores or even other online stores like PSN and steam

Can this emailed card be added to your Nintendo account and just sit there until sales? Or does purchasing it this way require you to use it within a certain time?

Yes, I tend to buy these deals a lot and it just sits there. Also note this is all Nintendo eShop games meaning for 3(2) DS, Wii U, Switch, etc. Cause at least Nintendo's smart and finally made it all one account.

I only buy these to keep enough $$$ on my account for DLC. Since the eShop pretty much never has deals on it. I look at it a little like giving myself a deal on it this way.
