I have the 2i4 2nd gen, I can not get any sound out when I use Windows 10. Tried everything, my daw or my windows reproducer still not getting any sound.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure none of these have a headphone amplifier. The headphone outputs serve only as a monitor for the inputs.

Pretty sure (like others) this will act as your sound card when you connect it. So you'd hear any sound coming from the computer its connected to

I've read from a few posts that it is a headphone amp as well but I don't see it in the specs so I can't confirm. Also curious to know as I am interested to buying

Edit: just read on a reddit comment that the amp is decent for low impedance headphones, 80ohms and under. Would like to know the actual impedance output if anyone knows it!

OP for audio interface Wink it's not a dac/headphone amp ! it may have a booster ?! but it's not designed for it ! great AI for recording yourself and - yes - you have to bypass your sound card ! Peace

What's everything?
Try using compatibility driver for xp.
I don't have this but another interface that didn't work until I changed to run compatibility for xp.

I bought a Samson USB mic from a recent deal. I connected it to my PC and tested it by singing with a karaoke song and used headphones for listening. The vocal lagged pretty badly. If I wanted to record my vocal on a karaoke song, would this Focusrite work better? And if so, which model would you recommend? And probably I will have to find a new mic since these Focusrite boxes do no seem to work with USB mic, correct? And if so, which mic would you recommend?

Thanks,
fld
