If I have a fire stick, a roku & a chromecast, do I want one of these?

Thanks.

Why get this when the Nvidia Shield is better and $30-40 cheaper?

FireStick can't compare to Apple TV 4K. It constantly freezes, slow loading and can get pretty hot. You get what you paid for. Not saying FireStick is completely useless, just can't put it in comparison with Apple 4K TV. The hardware are so far apart. If you are not in Apple ecosystem then I am not seeing whole not of reason for it. It is $10 cheaper than normal but I am not seeing WOW factor comparing to $140 DirectTV deal that comes with 32Gig.

How many GB is the DirectvNOW deal for $140? I like my previous gen ATV but the remote can be annoying.

32GB, but that's fine for most users.

It's 32G. It's enough for most users unless you like playing games on Apple TV.

FYI - Kodi on Apple TV might even be a tad better than on Shield now as it has full display/refresh rate switching.
Kodi on Apple TV = MrMC
