This is a great app for SD'ers they always have the best deals. I also noticed getting better deals based on your location "local deals". For instance when in San Francisco's North Beach I got a deal for the Clift that didn't show up when I was in Union Square.

Keep in mind when you book through outfits like this you get rock bottom rates but you won't get any of the rewards, status, etc. that comes with being a frequent traveler. You'll be known as and treated like OTA scum (and rightfully so). Although I would trust Hotel Tonight much more so then even more bottom of the barrel places like Expedia/Travelocity/Hotwire/Priceline

Says it's "not valid on this device" on my iphone, so maybe it's only valid on Android devices?

Miss their stackable discounts when they first started! I booked 2 rooms for extended family for $3 each.

Not true. I have gotten rooms with a view, on a high floor and/or with two beds.

Well there is some truth to that. While i haven't experience issue with room selection or most of the time i really don't care. However one time I used priceline for a hotel/resort in Fiji and normally it comes with a free breakfast which is a really nice full blown breakfast the hotel did not include that for me and they said it was because I booked it through a 3rd party discount like Priceline. I was a bit disappointed . I did the math and the saving was no where close to what we ended up paying for the breakfast.
