Yep, supposedly it has HDR according to sonys website. It was discussed last time it was posted https://slickdeals.net/f/10923587-50-sony-kd50x690e-4k-uhd-smart-led-hdtv-449-99-free-shipping?page=2. I honestly only used HDR once on my ks8000 and was not impressed. Maybe i did something wrong idk. Love the tv though.

Enjoy stunning visuals with this Sony Smart TV. Its 4K Ultra HD resolution shows images with greater clarity and detail, and it's internet-ready and has built-in Wi-Fi, so you can stream digital media uninterrupted. This 50-inch Sony Smart TV has three HDMI inputs for connecting game consoles and other A/V accessories.

KD50X690E. 60Hz. VA panel. NO HDR as this set doesn't get very bright. 247 nits. Competes with the TCL S405 series. Excellent black levels straight on, but off axis they turn gray in as little at 19 degrees. Very fast response time for sports and gaming. It will do 4:4:4 at 60Hz at 1080, but if the tv is turned off, there is a bug that resets the tv. You need to change the settings to get this mode back per Rtings. The set accepts HDR10 and has an HDMI ARC.

It's not HDR but it accepts HDR10...what does that mean?

The HDR10 light will come on if a signal is recognized. Doesn't mean anything. You need well over 1000 nits for proper HDR.
