There is nothing shady about Old Bay. It's been Maryland's favorite spice since 1939. It's on every USN ship in the world. And it has a Wikipedia page [wikipedia.org]. Plenty of stuff just shows "spices" in the ingredients.

The only comparable seasoning is JO. And those is fightin' words. Be careful who you say that to. LMAO

Seriously? Old bay has been an American staple for like 100 years and second it is not illegal. You sir are a clown

I always buy this at Sam's Club and pay $7.88 each time. This price is excellent, thanks OP!

Incase people are wondering how much this is at the Grocery -

Here are Kroger prices -
2.62 oz - $2.19
6 oz - $3.49

Those of you who have tried this and Larrys, which one do you like?

Something odd about the packaging -
They state "unique blend of 18 spices and herbs" but dont list all of them. Thats illegal. They could get into a lot of trouble. Staying away for now.

No, it's not. Plenty of branded seasonings simply state "spices." Go spend 5 minute at Amazon and look for yourself. Stop being paranoid about a well known, established product like Old Bay.

Good price. In for one. We go through so quick

Been buying the J.O. Brand from local seafood houses which we like a little better, but doesn't hurt to stock up.
