Amazon has Breville Grind Control for $239.96 right now. Their typical price is around $285 and MSRP is $299.

Also, this price decrease qualifies for a 4yr warranty for about $18, which I opted in for.

This looks interesting to me as a huge Breville fan, but there are many negative reviews. Anyone have any opinions from your own use?

Same here. I ended up pulling the trigger on it.
Unfortunately after a week of research I found out that there are very few options out there. It's basically in between Breville, Capresso and some Cousinart, which is a class below.

I had a Capresso, it lasted about 3 years before it broke completely. The LCD display was on the fritz for about the last 2 years. I got this Breville a couple years ago as a replacement and it is better in every way. Haven't had a single issue in my years of daily use. So take that for what it's worth.

This was/is one of Breville's worst products. I stopped buying beans because of this grinder. Went back to store ground.

Just dont even bother about it. Thats how bad this was. Its a 2+ year old model. Looks like they never did fix the kinks. Sad.

I have this unit and use it every day. If you clean the discharge chute after each use you won't have a problem. Oily coffee beans are sticky when ground and clog things up. Clean the discharge and you won't have any problems.

This! Use mine everyday without issue as well. Good maintenance and know your beans! The carafe is somewhat awkward when pouring the last bit but it certainly keeps coffee warm for a long time.
