It's been this price for a while now. Picked one up last week for $58.50 when the eBay coupon was doing it's rounds.

Unit was in very good condition.

The machine is the same as the power Scrub Deluxe FH50150, but t's refurbed and only comes with the upholstery tool. Good bang for the buck for $55-65 for sure.

Me too. I trust the tool just not the nasty stuff previous owners may have sucked up.

Had an older version of this model. The powerscrub brushes stopped spinning within a year. It seems to be a common problem as you can see many youtube videos on how to try to fix this. I tried but it didn't work.

I probably should have picked up on the big green machine when it was $300 but it's a lot of money.

I couldn't agree more. I would never trust Hoover refurbished. Last time I bought a similar version from their ebay store. But the brush could not spin. They did give me a replacement. But it stopped working on the first cleaning job. Because we don't clean the carpet that often, by the time it didn't work it was already out of the short warranty period.

Just picked up one of these:

Should be the same as the well reviewed FH50150, which went on sale for $99 recently, plus it comes with extra accessories.
