Google should.
Amazon has sold over 100 million Fire TVs, pulling Youtube off Fire TV means Google lost over 100 million screens playing advertisements...Huge revenue stream lost.

This does a lot more than Youtube and plenty of work-arounds to still get Youtube, apps2fire, AirPlay, kodi ect... I don't know why people keep bringing this up. Do your research and know how to use the product to it's full potential before complaining about 1 app.
Not all people can do what you can do. Also, all the things you mentioned can't come close to the REAL YouTube app.

Or, people will simply get other devices that has YouTube in it. Sale of Amazon devices will also go down. Google is not just the one getting hurt here. Let's get real.

So I take it that you wouldn't mind if Netflix was pulled from Fire TV, since its just "1 app?". You can't equate a major app like Youtube to a less popular app like, say Plex. That would be a deal-breaker for me personally, but not for many that I know who own a Fire TV product.

He was providing relevant info about the product so that people are informed about their purchase. I appreciate his comment because I own several Fire products and hadn't heard about this.
