So, you do not think this is a good price for the game? Only place I have seen it less was a week or so ago at Target only if you had Red card or 20% BF coupon.

"Upon release, Battlefront II received mixed reviews from critics. The game was also subject to widespread criticism regarding the status of loot boxes, which could give players substantial gameplay advantages if they purchased the loot boxes with real money. A reply from EA's community team on Reddit on the topic became the single most downvoted comment in the site's history – and in response, EA decided to temporarily remove microtransactions from the game until a later date."

Seems to me EA is getting desperate by selling the game at this price after the backlash, when the game just came out weeks ago.

We pretty much know once they hit a certain number of copies sold, they'll reintroduce loot boxes and microtransaction again.

Yeah, probablly not a "bad deal" anymore since EA had to go back and reverse it's initial plans, but this game along with many other AAA titles such as Destiny 2 have anti-consumer practices in them to extract as much money from you as possible even after making a full priced purchase. One could argue switch games are fairly priced at ~$60 and maybe ps4/xbox/pc games should cost more.

They announced before the game even came out that there would most likely be a sale around the time the movie comes out.

Pretty stale game. Pretty but not really fun after the first 2 hours. Wait until it's 15

Serves EA right for acting like a pompous jerk towards gamers. EA's forum admins are no better.

I understand all the backlash. However, the single player for this game is excellent if you are a Star Wars fan. The online is very mediocre at best. This is probably really only something for fans of the franchise. All others should stick with their COD's and regular Battlefield series.
