The customer reviews are great for this one. Good find.
Looks like they have others on sale as well.

Additional Bonus - Panasonic is currently extending the 1yr warranty to 3yrs. You have have to fill a special form for that:

Does that 2 year warranty cover the lens as well? I drop my 12-32 and it's no longer working.

Yes, but you have to submit the rebate within 30 days after purchase. Also drops aren't covered under warranty (it'll be denied if they find impact damage).

Just bought the G7 a couple weeks ago. They're still selling for $497 at most of the major online camera sites.

But this one with the extra lens gives me a little buyer's remorse.

The other main difference between those two are form factor. The G7 is a DSLR body, and this is more rectangular. Also in this one, the LCD screen doesn't flip around, so it's not as well suited if you're going to be videotaping yourself.

Good comparison here.

I do not know anything about cameras. Looking for one as a gift for an adult beginner and saw this deal on the Sony for $379 after 20% coupon and RC. It doesn't come with the extra lens. Any advice on which one to get.

If you are not shooting at the tele, I would say go for a6000. That's very good price for the kit. Just add sigma 19 and 60, then you have an excellent kit.

I was looking at the A6000 and the GX85 a while ago, and ended up going with the GX85. I liked the 4k video, image stabilization, and more/cheaper lens options. You can't go wrong with either though.

Also a good deal on a spare battery.

This one is for older models and has about 100mah less power but it's about 500% less then the one Panasonic sends with this camera

Fair comparison. A6000 shoots great video, just not 4K. It has in lens stabilization which works great (in body for small mirrorless is not nearly as good as DSLR). The sensor for the A6000 is very good, significantly better.

For that price and with Dual IS GX85 is a winner for me.

Look online at some comparison videos between A6000/ A6300 and GX85. GX85 wins hands down. I was also looking at the A6300 but changed my mind and bought the GX85

Same. First camera is a commitment to the lens platform, not camera body as they're disposable. I actually wanted the G85 but couldn't justify paying almost double and there never was never a particularly great deal on them.
