Have the Ionic, by and large hate it because transferring music to it is a joke, an infuriating and buggy process that's sucked the soul out of me. Fitbit be damned.

I agree. I returned my Ionic for the Samsung Gear Sport. I then returned the Gear sport. I still don't know which one to buy -__- Maybe Android users aren't meant to have a smartwatch

I'm not worried about music transfer. I just want a decent looking step counter and workout and runs logging GPS watch. I've been happy with the Surge which is pretty beat-up after 3 years of use. I'm hoping Ionic will be a step-up from the Surge.
