someone convince or avert me from getting this. I been doing fine with the Modem/router combo. But since then last summer My connection have gone to shit. And Comcast are raising prices in January so I'm just going to buy a refurb modem to save on cost.

Why does no one post the speeds of each band, including the mfr's own site?

I assume that those interested in this are tech savvy. I tried out the EA9300 for a weekend and could not get the 5ghz connections to play nice and hold a connection with more than 3 devices at a time. Even after firmware updates manually and some tech support I couldn't move the mountain of a router to do what I wanted.

Linksys has a good support team, but the technology failed me. Hopefully this model from linksys bypasses all that nonsense. I would've jumped on this deal before the ea9300 if it was available at the time. I currently have the x6s from Costco and that's doing the job in a big house.
