I think it's a good set since it comes with both metal and wood blades plus includes a case with it.

I'm such a fool for reciprocating saw blades. I can't get enough of them. I just purchased this set at Lowes over the weekend because of the handy case: https://www.lowes.com/pd/LENOX-9-...1000295021 It was $16.xx.

This deal is so much better and I love Milwaukee blades. They're great.

I have blades from Bosch, Milwaukee, Diablo, Lenox...

Sometimes I just saw things that are laying around just so I can test new blades out. Thank you, OP.

Thanks OP, 14 pieces for $15 is just over $1 per piece, which I haven't seen in a year or two (but maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, as I haven't really been in the market for them). Plus, this includes a case, which I usually don't see.

For the wood/metal blades they're $14 on amazon currently and the free blade set here is $17 on amazon currently.

You sound very knowledgeable on the subject. Are saw blades interchangeable across brands? I have a Skil saw, but my blades are all worn out. TIA!

Yes, the blades are not brand specific. My saw is a Bosch and I use blades from all different manufacturers. Just remember not to buy blades for a table saw or a jig saw for your reciprocating saw. Sometimes the pictures can be misleading online between jig saws and reciprocating saws but jig saw blades are much smaller. Peace

Blade mounts are standardized across brands and are interchangeable between saw brands. I personally have never ran across a reciprocating saw that did not accept standard blades. Non-standard saws might exist though . . .

FWIW, this is a pretty good deal. I have a set that I've had for a few years that have held up well.

Sometimes take a stroll through the blades section at Lowes or Home Depot. If you look closely in the back of the blades, they stock Buy 1 Get 1 free packages. You'll only see it if you look and they hide them behind the full priced blades. I bought a bunch of B1G1 carbide Diablo blades.
