I had these before I got QC 25 and they are much better at noise cancellation than 25. I switched them as the noise cancellation hub (size of a pack of gum) made it feel like the cable on either side of it would break rendering the headphones useless.

That's sounds like an Apple/iPhone/you problem, not the headphones/Bose problem.

These have spectacular noise cancellation. Also these are not a traditional iem. They are not deep inserted into the ear but they sit in the bowl of your ear if that makes sense.

I actually sleep with these due to the excellent active noise cancellation (great for cancelling out snoring).

Trying to jump on this... Keep getting "something went wrong" during final checkout.

Edit: Went through after five tries (CC/PayPal). PP finally worked.

I went from qc25 to these. 25s worked great but they got in the way whenever I tried to shift my head on the airplane seat. Highly recommended

Do you think will this stop upstairs walking sound also?? Without playing music does this stop noise cancelling??

You can turn on the NC via a toggle switch so there doesn't need to be music playing for it to work. If you combine this and a white noise generator (small fan works) it should muffle out foot steps from upstairs.

It will - the device (Apple/Android) specific bit is only for track skip functionality embedded in the wire line. Will not impact NC or audio playback.

But also means I can't answer calls, pause/play music, adjust volume, activate Siri, or skip tracks?
