Your local TJ Maxx and Marshalls may have the JBL 300's (brand new) in-stock for $60. I went to many TJ-Maxx and Marshalls in my city this weekend for X-mas shopping (there's about 9 in my city) and most of them had at least 4 instock. I bought three of them as gifts for my family (light blue, blue, and red). They also several JBL 700's in black, but they wanted $99 for it.

As for experience, I have the JBL Elite 300's (same as the Everest 300, but Elites have active noise cancellation). Build quality is superior to Beats Studios and I actually prefer the sound of the JBL over my Bose QC35. Only problem is that the headband on the JBL is very tight, so it can get uncomfortable after only an hour.

I've had both and the 700s are amazing. They are over ear where as these are smaller... Also they have an app that lets you change the equalizer and they have toggle noise cancellation and awareness (let's you listen to music while being alert of sirens or people talking). Both are better than beats in all honesty and I recommend either to anyone. If you can find a pair of 700s online (ebay) for $100 or less then hop on them. I am staying with the 300s though since my gym routine requires flat bench and the over ear headphones tend to slide off (other than that they don't move).

I just picked up the elite 700 from Fry's for $100. They sounds really clear. Bass is present but it's different. It's like you can hear it but it does not clog three ear canal with sound pressure. The stereo separation is awesome. Overall I highly recommend them.

I had also picked up a pair of Sennheiser 4.40 which do not have nose cancelling but we're the same price. I am preferring the JBLs as they sound so much cleaner.

Here is the review on the 700. More can be found on this site

No Low Latency AptX for lip sync. So be prepared for delays in case you're gonna watch TV with this headphones
