Says not safe for children under 3 due to small parts. Does all items for children have this warning?

Have this from one of the multitude of other brands of the same exact thing. Doesn't work well if it's on the floor, looking at it means you get glare in the eyes and furniture blocks the lights. It does shine maybe almost 180 degrees out from the base so all the more reason to have it up a bit higher.

The motor in these is loud AF and the LED inside will blind you through the lower holes if there's not an object between you and it. The colored LEDs might not be as bad though. We have the white, non-timed version of it and it's pretty awful.

Does this one actually project the stars on the ceiling and rotate slowly? We recently got a gift one and seems really nice, only to find out it doesn't really project on the wall. It just has stars and it's really bright which isn't very helpful in trying to get your child to be calm and sleepy (6 months).

I have the lady bug with stars light that came with the Hollar.com deal which actually works really well except it only last about 2min and on battery. To make it spin i attach it to her crib mobile.

Any other comments on noise level? Considering for a baby nursery. I guess best case scenario noisy light drowns out baby crying.

My son has been using a plug in disco ball light for years, we have this one

The motor does make noise but the white noise always soothed him and it stays on till you turn it off. Plus the colors go everywhere and aren't blinding, very mesmerizing 😊
