I have the Chromebook Plus and overall it's great, however:

1. I have a single dead pixel that's pretty annoying and Samsung handles their warranty support 3rd party. I opened a ticket and researched the company they were sending it to and decided I'd rather live with a dead pixel than risk sending it to them.

2. The WiFi is a little weak. I had to install a second access point because this guy would drop WiFi where I like to lounge and watch Netflix. My phone (Google Pixel) and other devices had no trouble with WiFi in the exact same spot.

Good deal though OP. Thumbs up

Google ghost taps on this machine and you'll find out why.

I have the pro, but I'm just curious. Have you tried using a Bluetooth speaker when you stream? I have this weird issue when I connect an Anker Bluetooth speaker to my pro. For some reason the pro slows down the stream significantly until it will just auto disconnect the speaker from Bluetooth after some time. The stream will return to regular speed again after disconnection. The speakers on the pro suck in my opinion and have muffled sound because of placement so I need the Bluetooth speaker. The same speaker works fine on my older Acer Chromebook. Not sure what's happening.

I'm not sure but I think the all metal body might interfere with the WiFi signals, maybe Bluetooth too. Maybe when Bluetooth is connected that makes it worse?

Does it happen when you are right next to the router? I was getting show downs with streaming until it eventually stopped. If I toggled the WiFi on and off it would play again for a while and then same thing would happen. Now I have a mesh WiFi point 10 feet away and I can stream without issues.

The speakers are so quiet as to be nearly unusable; bluetooth is a must. Hard to believe they'd go to production with such a glaring defect. Otherwise, happy all around.

I have one of these for a couple of months and haven't seen issues of this sort.

This is good deal. It has a high rating with Consumer Reports # 3 or 4 I think. I just bought CR #1 the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302CA because I wanted more memory and a backlit keyboard.
If you Google this a lot of web sites compare it to mine & some favor this over mine.

It's been long time I had a personal laptop other than my office one. How is a chrome book superior to a tablet or it is not, can anyone tell me?
