Taxes and fees estimate [ooma.com]

For most people this is between $3-7/month

If you want to connect your Ooma via Wi-Fi, skip the Ooma wireless/Bluetootha adapter, and get this instead, it works great!

There's a 10% off coupon as well, bringing it down to $56.70. That seems like a great deal.

Love my Ooma, have had it for years.

You click the coupon on the page where you order it and applied when you check out.

Really is a great deal about the lowest price i have ever seen wonder if they are coming out with a new box and are getting rid of the old ones?

All I see is a $10 off "Home Services" option on check out if I choose to let them deliver it later, which doesn't actually get me $10 off the current order...

The lag/latency with Ooma is atrocious. Their servers are in Cali, and the further away from Cali you are, the worse it is. Causes you to start talking over the other person non stop. So annoying my grandma figured out how to use her cell phone. I'd never hook anyone else up with one.
Strange. I'm in New Jersey and have never experienced lag. Even when I had lousy DSL.

I'm in Idaho. Pretty well documented issue on their forums. Unfortunately I hooked up several family members with these before finding out about the issue. They all hate them and only use their cell phones now. Internet is DSL or Cable, sub 20ms ping, plugged in directly with Ethernet, since their WiFi adapter is complete shit and won't even work if it's next to a router.

Does this merit the price difference over an obihai200 ? or in other words why would one buy this over obihai under $50 with google voice which is free ?

I had nothing but issues with two Obi devices (100 and 200). Dropped calls, poor quality, etc. and I trashed them both since their support was unable to resolve the issue. Purchased an Ooma last year and we have had zero issues. Sure there is a monthly fee for 911 and taxes which is around $5 but well worth it for us.
