Home Depot has the Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill/Driver and Impact Driver Combo Kit with (2) 1.3Ah Batteries, Charger and Bag

Regular price $149 on sale for $99 with free shipping or free in store pick up

Seems like a decent deal for a 18 volt one+ drill/driver, 1/4" impact driver and TWO batteries and a charger.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Includes 2 compact batteries, charger and carrying bag

The Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Drill/Driver Kit provides superior lithium-ion performance to get the job done. The drill includes a 1/2 in. heavy-duty single sleeve and a keyless chuck with 24-position clutch to match your drilling and driving needs. The impact driver has a variable-speed trigger and 1600 in. lbs. of torque to provide control and power when driving long and large screws or bolts. They both feature the exclusive MagTray and onboard bit storage, which allow convenient placement of bits and screws. Two lithium-ion batteries and a charger are included that will power over 70 ONE+ tools. This is all covered under a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

Drill:
24-position clutch and 2-speed gearbox (0-440 RPM and 0-1600 RPM) to match your drilling and driving needs
1/2 in. heavy-duty keyless chuck for quick, easy bit changes

Impact driver:
Delivers up to 1600 in. lbs. of torque and 3200 impacts per minute for the most demanding applications
1/4 in. quick-connect coupler for quick and easy bit changes
Cast aluminum gear housing for strength and durability

Includes (2) P102 compact lithium-ion batteries, 1 dual-chemistry charger and 1 carrying bag
Batteries are the lightest in the ONE+ system to minimize overall tool weight

Thanks for the heads up on the sale! I didn't get this particular kit, since I didn't need the impact drill, but did get the drill & circular saw kit on sale for $79 (20% off)!

You calling it an "impact drill" makes me wonder if you know what it is. It's an "impact driver". Are you thinking of a "hammer drill"? They are different.

Wow, I knew SDers were ruthless but to call me out over a technicality like that, come on. Technicalities, my mistake. Yes I know the difference between the two. The recipient of my drill/saw kit purchase doesn't have the need for high-powered torque Impact DRIVER.

There are few different things. Impact driver, Impact wrench, and hammer drill.

To put on lag bolts into studs for a TV mount would you use the drill or impact driver ?

Wow, I knew SDers were thin skinned but to get all offended over me trying to make sure you understood that an impact driver is very useful and I would recommend one to any homeowner, not just a pro, come on.

Drill pilot holes with the drill then drive bolts with impact driver or impact wrench if they're real big
