Just purchased the Asus Tmobile AC1900 for $59. Any reason to ditch that and go for this?

I bought this. It's parental controls feature exists in name only. Other rhan that it worked ok
Restricts clients and lets the 1 parent have access - that's how it's parental controls feature works.
I replaced it with the ASUS one. The ASUS one bricked itself the next morning. I made a ticket with ASUS and by the time ASUS responded, I'd already received the replacement from amazon.
That was about a year ago.

You've heard it said before and I'll say it again: stay away from TP Link home products. I owned this.
Do clarify. I've own both the C7 and C9 and no problem thus far.

Bought this a couple of years ago for $99.
Has been solid with stock firmware. Covers my 2000 sf house well.
I have 30+ devices connected in a mix of wired and wireless.

I like it for it's range and uptime; haven't bothered with access control for kids yet (3-4 years away); TU

I owned this it was good, expect about 2 years use out of it before it just stops working though. TP-LINK makes good products, this particular model was one of the first affordable fast AC routers, depending on which hardware version you get expect it to not last longer than 2 years. If you want to invest a little and have a better warranty check out the TP-LINK AD7200 it's amazing.
