Potentially considering this primarily for the fan mount to add another fan to my 212 evo for a push/pull configuration. I haven't been able to locate the mounts for the heatsink otherwise -- anyone know where I could buy just another fan mount for the 212 evo?

Second fan is usually only worth 1-3c and added noise. A single faster fan does the same or better

Bought one of these a few weeks ago for $15 (which I thought was a good deal) that i only installed just a few days ago. It was a joy to install, compared to the much more complicated procedure for the EVO I had in my other computer. My cpu temps range from 25 degrees to a max of 38-39 at full load. Of course this being winter in the NE I'm sure it'll get hotter in summer but I'm happy with this product. Just wish i waited for the rebate offer. This LED version includes an extra mounting bracket for an additional fan, btw.

The link for the rebate isn't working, can we confirm that the rebate will work?

there may be a spare in the box, Cooler Master site also should sell those.

EVO may cool 1-2' better because the 212 LED uses an older contact pattern at the base (similar to the 212 Plus)

On the contrary, we can confirm that it will not work. About halfway through the terms on the form, it clearly states "Valid at Micro Center only." And obviously part of the supporting documentation required to be submitted is a receipt/invoice...

OP mentioned that it would be $8 AR if you can get Microcenter to price match

Ah, the person I was replying to apparently missed that (as did I, though I wasn't paying close attention since I'd already seen the Newegg sale earlier and decided against buying it at Newegg's $15 (and it's certainly not something I have enough use for to deal with trying to get a price match and then waiting 2-3 months for a rebate..)

I don't recommend this for AM4 as it will mount in North/South orientation with the clip provided.

This is a great price without a rebate! I have this in my current build and it is easy to install and cools well. Thanks OP!
