Looks like this is a newish model from Anker. My last phones got loose USB ports from plugging in every night. This should solve that problem.

Also - it mentions compatible with non-metal cases. A different pad I was looking at, not recommended to use with case.

While most should have a spare AC adapter lying around, this doesn't come out with one and recommends against using your apple adapter.

Also this looks more like the avg price for an anker wireless charger.

The other Anker QI pad that compares to this one is $26. The older Anker pad with around 3,000 Amazon reviews is about the same price, but is twice the thickness and smaller surface area. This is a thin pad and should work fine as a standard QI charger.

Does Apple has wireless charger made for iPhone 8 yet? I don't know if all these non Apple brand wireless charger will work nice on iPhone 8. Any compatibility issues?
The iPhone 8 and iPhone X will work with an Qi wireless charger. So yes, it will work with this.

How is this a deal? It's a single coil 5w charger for $18. It's quite easy to find 10w double coil designs for a similar price. I realize the max wireless charge rate for iphones is 7.5w with the latest update, but that doesn't change the fact that the only advantage you get with this purchase is the warranty. In every other way, and perhaps even in that category, it isn't as good as competing options for the price. With android phones already starting to support the newer 15w Qi standard, it just seems backwards to invest in this charger at this price.

Thanks OP for the post, but not such a good deal for the following reason:

No a/c adaptor. (You have to buy one that provides enough power to it. You cant use cheap 1 amp chargers)

Before the iPhone X craze, Amazon was selling Samsung qi chargers for $22. Wait till they drop.

Lastly, I'm a tech enthusiast and fix tech at a school and have been following wireless charging tech for a while. Don't believe the marketing hype that fast Qi chargers charge your phone super fast. Tests have shown the speed bump is insignificant. All Qi chargers charge slowly and are realistically for charge overnight. Fast chargers that come with your phone heat up your battery which will reduce the life of your smartphone battery. Slow chargers are the best bet until the technology improved.

The more coils, the better

Pick up a deal for one made by Samsung, Anker, RavPower, Tylt. Stay away from belkin and Mophie as they are overpriced using the same tech as the value brands I mentioned above

Hardly a deal. Paying for name - A 5w wireless charger is slower than the standard charging setup that comes with the phone. The iPhone can only accept up to 7.5w wireless and those can be found for the same price at any time.

Strange that it comes without adapter. Like most, I'm sure I have compatible one somewhere, but I'd prefer one from manufacturer so I know it's compatible. No guess work...
