This is the 2017 model. Not able to get much information on the model number C803. Supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Looks like it is comparable to C807 which is listed at $1999 on Amazon:

What's the difference between the 75c803 vs 75c807?

This 803 model doesn't exist on tcl's website. Nor anywhere on the internet besides Costco.com.

When comparing the 55c803 vs the 55c807 on tcl's site, the only difference between the 2 that I could find was the Roku remote control it comes with doesn't come with the headphone jack.

Can someone give some clarity here on the difference between these models here?

Remote is the only difference as clearly stated in tcl website .. scroll down to specifications where they state that ..

Does this have all the actual qualifications for hdr 10? I feel like a lot of the threads for the smaller tcl say it's not bright enough or something about can't produce the right colors. Anyone able to chime in?

The difference in the remote on the 807 has voice activation and a headphone jack. The C803 has a similar remote, but lacks those features.

Only difference between the Costco model and the Amazon is the remote. The Costco models have an inferior remote if that matters to you (I use a Harmony so not an issue). All "C" models are edge lit.

The "P" series, on paper should be superior to the "C" series in its HDR performance due it its local dimming. It has the active zone local dimming and to my eyes, the PQ is the best you can get short of OLED, on par or arguably better than Visio's M Series.

I did a review on the P series a few days ago. Same specs except for the local dimming > http://streambuzz.net/this-tcl-55...d-cutters/

Correct. The P series is only available in 55 inches - sadly.

not that it's much - but weird that the electric usage on this thing shows a lot more than other sets. probably puts out a lot of heat. then again, the other ones i was looking at are are like literally double this cost, so there's that.

Seems like a decent set, i'm not too thrileld about the bottom speaker/bezel.

Walking around Costco right now (California) and the 70" Vizio M70-E3 is $1299. Also has DV & HDR10. Didn't find the 75" TCL to compare in person.

This is a variant of the C807. I believe the main difference is that the Costco version comes with a simpler remote. Price is valid through 12/15/17.
