Except for the price point, these aren't good quality so you'll see scratches after a couple of times.

They are pretty good cheap pans. Got them two years ago and use the 8" on a weekly basis. No scratch at all, but I am careful not using any hard utensils or food (i.e. Clams)

Have had them for a few years. If you use soft utensils, haven't had a problem with scratches.

They're still relatively thin, so you're not going to get heat distribution the way you would on a much more expensive model. But that's expected at this price point. They're far better than the IKEA pans I tried around the same time, for one comparison.

A great slightly pricier alternative with better heat distribution are the Tramontina pans Costco usually has available in different sizes/packages.

Thumbs up on this deal given reasonable expectations.

In for the anodized 5 quart pot. SIL wanted this exact type for Christmas. I assume it will be plenty fine for boiling noodles and basic stuff like that? Anyone? Bueller?

I'm looking at the rebate form here:
https://www.macysrebates.com/stat...Get-Rebate

At the end of the page, there's offer 17-29990:
Tools of the Trade 8, 9, 11 inch Fry Pan Set, 4 Quart Soup Pot with Steamer Insert in Stainless Steel or Hard Anodized, 8 Quart Casserole in Stainless Steel or Hard Anodized or 7.5 Quart Covered Wok

So the Fry pan set or pot may qualify for the $10 rebate??
