What​ ​is​ ​MoviePass?
MoviePass is the nation's premier theatrical subscription service. For $9.95 per
month, our members can see one standard 2D movie every calendar day.

How​ ​do​ ​I​ ​sign​ ​up?
Costco members sign up through the Costco.com website (www.costco.com [costco.com]). Upon
successful enrollment, you will be sent a promo code for MoviePass and Fandor. Next, you
enroll on the MoviePass site (www.moviepass.com/costco [moviepass.com]) and Fandor site
(www.fandor.com/promo/costco2017 [fandor.com]) and use the promo code. You will then be sent a
MoviePass Debit Card, which you will use to redeem your movie tickets from the box office.
Your credit card is required for renewal at end of the one year term. By using the promo code
provided by Costco, you will not be charged again until the one year term expires.

How​ ​do​ ​I​ ​activate​ ​my​ ​MoviePass​ ​card?
Once your MoviePass card arrives in the mail, log into the MoviePass app with your
email address and password. The app will then request the last 4 digits of your MoviePass card
number in a pop-up box, enter the last 4 digits and your subscription will fully activate and your
billing date will adjust as well!

Are​ ​there​ ​any​ ​restrictions?
Your unlimited MoviePass subscription from Costco allows you to see one standard 2D
movie every calendar day at any participating theater.​ ​We currently do not support (in part or
entirety) any enhanced or special screenings that involve an upcharge at the theater. Examples
of these would include 3D, IMAX, Fathom Events, DBOX, ETX/RPX, film festival screenings,
etc.
Your MoviePass card can only be used to purchase a ticket to the screening listed on your
check-in. Using your card to purchase a different ticket is against our terms & conditions, which
can result in your account cancellation.

If your MoviePass card is declined, just contact us through the chat feature. We can
quickly troubleshoot the issue with you to get you into your film.

At theaters where reserved seating is available, e-ticketing will also allow you to

When I signed up a few minutes ago 12/12/17. It said they should arrive by 12/26/17


To the best of my knowledge the limitations MoviePass places on its members are
-No 3D nor IMAX movies
-Only one movie per day

After signing up for MoviePass they will send you a MasterCard debit card. You will need to activate the card. Then when you are in proximity of the theatre you will need to check in on the MoviePass app and select which movie you want to see. MoviePass will then load the card with the ticket price and you will proceed to the box office where we will run the card like any other MasterCard.

Movies cannot be purchased days in advance. It is for the same day purchase only. So if you are wanting to see a new movie that just got released, it is highly likely that the desired time you want will not be available.
You have a better chance to go to that movie 1 to 2 weeks after release.

I bought one for myself and my son a month ago, and late last month I upgraded to the annual plan.

Last week got billed for both monthly and annual for the pass, while the plan shows still monthly and when I opened a ticket for refunding the monthly payment and updating the account to reflect annual plan.

Its been 7 days and I have tried to update every 2 days or so with regards to the status. Absolutely no response.. the customer service service is horrible, no phone and only zendesk tickets that dont get answered, I am almost planning to approach paypal for a refund.. buyer beware

Our experience is very similar with customer service. If you buy a ticket hoping for reimbursement, don't hold your breath, we had issues on 3 different occasions and each time no credit, which is very disappointing. If you pay for your ticket, don't expect the customer service to reimburse or even get back to you timely. Just a head's up.
