Did anyone else sign up for the slickdeal through coinbase where you got .006 free bitcoins for signing up? I had forgotten about this for years and I just checked and that .006 is now worth around $100. Not a bad return. Too bad I didn't buy more back then when it was basically free.

haha awesome.

To TATYS00 and anothers, people have been saying that for a long time now. "Oh I'm too late and missed the big jump." Then 2 months later it's up another $5000. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and others are still growing. Get in asap.

I thought I jumped in late too. Jumped in when it was $2k.
Sold it at $4k for profit.
Went back in at $10k last month. Now its up at $19k.
Its never too late.
Also check out altcoins. Made about 80% gain in one week.

It is a bubble. A huge freaking bubble. And, it will be too late. The only question is when. And unlike the stock market, when it crashes, it will not recover. That is because, in my opinion, when it crashes it will do so because people realize that they are investing in greater fools and they ran out of fools to sell to.

I own Bitcoin, Ether, and Litecoin. But I have no illusions about the risk I am taking and the certainty of each of these investments' demise. I just think there is a lot of room for the bubbles to break.

Now that the ads are EVERYWHERE, I am thinking it's too late. Close to bubble time and the big dogs want out. That's my guess at least. A million dollars "made" means nada until cashed out.

I remember my Dad talking about all of the commercials for gold and silver. "If it is such a good investment why are they so anxious to sell it?" laugh out loud

I like what she said, not what it means.

I think we've got another 6-18 months before it's time to bail. Institutional money just entered en masse within the last 2 months. They have a few billion to make before they cash out. Ride the wave for now I say.
