Plastic auger lol.. plastic and cold don't mix.

If you expect this thing to survive a single rock you're probably going to be disappointed.

ya, this is more of a snow broom. little bit of snow on a walk or porch or stairs. not to do a driveway imo

Reading the questions for this product on amazon, I realize this is similar to the toro, witch also sell for $99.99
I live in the suburbs, so I have neighbors pretty close and cars in their driveways and the street.

I have to go out of my way so I don't throw snow onto their cars and home.

It throws the snow pretty far up in the air if not angled right and with a small front yard I find it almost impossible to throw the snow off the driveway without recovering the walk, or vise a versa.

Doubt this would be at all helpful in Michigan winters 😂

I used the battery version last year, it was super useful!! And we had some big snows here in Utah. My only complaint was how narrow it was and it put some strain on the back.
But it could throw snow a really good distance, which would have been a beast to move with a shovel

I have this (the battery version, I imagine corded would be more powerful). It works fine in Massachusetts. I've cleared my walkway and parts of my driveway next to a busy street that gets build up from snow plows. Both my driveway and walkway has gravel and I did not have any problems!! If anything the rocks shoot everywhere so be careful around windows. If you don't have experience with it, don't comment. It's a bit top heavy if you use the battery version, so you need muscle to use it.
