Also might be worth grabbing a 10% off coupon (max $20 discount) on ebay for a few bucks and use topCB for 3%

Oddly equivalent to the Dell Microcenter deal. Difference I see is that this is 128gb ssd vs 256gb on the Dell. Is this MSI Thunderbolt 3 compatible? I see Walmart offers several gaming laptops as an option for this deal. I'd be curious to hear cost benefit of the Acer Nitro and Legion Y520 that have the 1050ti

My chase credit card is also offering 10% cashback on Walmart purchases for the next couple of weeks. Might want to look into that if you have one.

Wow, I wish! My Citicard is doing 5% at "department stores", and I'm hoping Wal-Mart qualifies. I also did BF for 3%. When all is said and done (selling MR kit), I'm thinking the cost of the laptop alone will be between $800 and $850.

I just bought the acer bundle this morning. I plan on returning my headset after I get it. I don't think Walmart would allow the same to apply here no? Cause i have no interest in VR/Mr and if I am able to return that headset it effectively brings the laptop down to 750.

Interesting thought. I think in my cart it showed the MR kit @$199. I actually cancelled an order I placed last night because the MSI was more expensive until today. I seem to remember that I cancelled the headset first and it left the laptop at normal price -$200.

You misunderstood me. It was the price of the laptop @ the time ($1098, I think at the time) -$200, so $898 or something.
