Was going to get one this morning, but these mugs have horrible reviews due to the lid design. Looks cool tho. referencing the kickback ones

Amazon reviews say the lid is not leak proof at all, gonna skip it.

Agreed. All these tumblers will leak, regardless of which "brand" you get (note, many of these are the same under the skin).

What I suggest is that you get a Contigo 16/20 oz Westloop (not another model) mug. People think you can only drive coffee from it, but if you get one for cold drinks as well, you'll never have to worry about having your water/whatever taste like coffee.

The major bonus is that they do not leak. Knock them over on the couch, and the couch is dry. Kohl's was selling the mugs for $7.50 during BF, and they may still have them, or Amazon regularly has them for $12-15, sometimes lower.

I had this Contigo. Used it a few times then give up. What a pain to clean it after drinking coffee. I would say no since most people drink coffee in their table, and a tumbler is good enough. Easier to clean too, obviously.

The Contigo is like a small version of my Zojirushi carafe, a real pita everyday in my tea life.

Zojirushi is also excellent, with double seals and locking caps.

Completely disagree, but each to his own. I'm in busy areas often and the spill count with this tumbler would be over the top... I like the look though. Wink

My spill count with the contigo is ZERO, in 6-7 years of daily usage. That's thousands of usages, and the count is zero.

Here's post/link I put in another thread on cleaning. Mug looks brand new, lid is stained but very clean.. See post #81

Sorry, no. I'm not sure anyone makes a sealed mug that large. You could look at Kleen Kanteen though (not hydroflask) as you can actually drink from the KK 32oz size. It isn't pretty trying that on a hydro without a special top/straw/etc. I have both in 32oz size and the KK is the winner 90% of the time IMO; the lone exception is when you need to force ice cubes in the hydro, when the bigger mouth works well.

Also, I'd rather have a smaller one that I can refill often. 30oz of anything (besides water) is a lot and maybe too much - for me anyway. Do I need 30oz of coffee? No, that wouldn't be good for society, and I haven't had that much coffee since I was an undergrad trying to get through books that would put me to sleep in minutes without aid. Wink
