I use that to test all micro sd.. free.. even on cards from amazon one should test it anyways bc amazon has frauds too. Fakes are ubiquitous.

For ppl who don't know.. fakes include taking a legit card like a SanDisk micro sd 4gb and making it appear as 32-GB or 64-Gb card. So it's not the outside appearance.. it's the false size feigning as a big size (ie 32-gb and up). it may not be detected by a person bc even if it's in retailer box and u open it.. and it does work in your device u assume it's legit. Once u reach 4gb or the cards real limit.. the card goes in a loop or stuck with notes that will drive u insane bc u won't figure out why it suddenly doesn't work but it will NOT tell u directly it's out of space. You gotta test it as soon as it's mailed to make sure it's genuine. Also symptoms include reading the card but data getting lost or inability to write. I learned these the hard way so passing off what I learned.

If you install the Amazon browser extension you should also see $5 off $10 for Cameras which can be used towards the purchase of this you'll see it added automatically in cart if you're eligible

be sure to click on redeem then it'll take you to the camera section on Amazon, now find this or any card you want and another $5 off

Is this stackable with the $5off$25 from last month? or part of the same promo?

I would test it myself, but I already redeemed one with expiration of Dec 31, 2017.

Yes it is indeed stackable. I just placed an order with two $5 assistant credits.

Are microSDs okay for DSLR, or should we strictly use SD cards?

Just make sure that your DSLR supports sdxc. If it does, then an adapter does the job perfectly.
