Amazon has the Philips Sonicare Airfloss on deal today for 34% off ($32.99).

Lowest price I've seen so far, even lower than the Frontpage deal a few months ago.

This is water. It uses air to blow the water.

Personally I'd pay the little bit extra for the Waterpik (and just did).

Have you ever met a Dentist that didn't go off on a rant, or lecture their patients? You'd think they'd realize it's one of the reasons people don't want to go to the dentist!!

I'm interested, but several reviews make it sound like it's not durable. I'd rather pay extra for quality. Pass.

I have this and love it. (Ive heard the first generation made wasn't that great but I have the newer model). I don't use it with any liquid but there is a little chamber you can fill with water or mouthwash. I brush and floss with string floss daily but my mouth feels much cleaner after using this-its as easy as positioning it between the teeth then pushing a button which releases a burst of air.

Man, this is funny timing. My dentist just went on a rant about air and water flossers. I said "it's got to be better than just not flossing" and he was off. 5 minutes straight. Thinks they're snakeoil.

So I just bought this. Thanks, OP.

Sorry, just CSB.

What's so hard to understand about their functionality? It's far better than nothing. In some cases better than string

I just thought it was funny that I asked about them this morning and he lost it - it was like I attacked him. Then it was on sale so I bought it.

Does this work the same way as a Waterpik by blasting a high pressure water stream between your teeth or does this use air?

I've gone through two of these in less than four years. Finally gave up on them and bought a Waterpik.

Brush and floss. If you need a gimmicky device to peak the interest in your dental care, go for it.

Have this and it stopped working within 2 months. It wouldn't spray water out anymore. Personally, I would stay away. Got a waterpik and couldn't be more happier.
