Their other keyboards use Gateron and the photos look identical. From my experience Gateron is just as good build quality as Cherry, minus the gold plating on the internal contacts. I prefer the Gateron blacks over Cherry's as they have a much smoother slide.

Red switches are linear, lacking a tactile bump or audible click so it would be closest to browns. You can get o-rings to minimize the sound.

I wish I had waited because I bought a eagletec for $29.99 on cyber monday. I have a red rgb mouse and the eagletec is blue plus it has a big bazel on the top. Oh well, good deal if I haven't already bought an eagletec than this one would be it.
