The price comps on this are very strong vs. $780. If you had pieced this system together over the past few months, you would have spent $1,010: $160 (FP on mains) + $300 (FP on subs) + $250 (center) + $300 (surrounds).

The mains are the RTiA3 bookshelves, that hit the FP at $160/pair earlier this year here: https://slickdeals.net/f/10130712

The lowest I have seen the center (CSi-A6) was $250 back in September here: https://slickdeals.net/f/10576216

The FXi-A6 were $300/pair during the same sale.

Finally, the cheapest (non GC) offer I've seen on the PSW125 is $150 each here: https://slickdeals.net/f/10946279

I will add this a great deal. I am not a huge fan of Polk Subwoofers, but I tend to go upmarket with my bass. (Martin Logan, SVS, DefTech).

That said, i have zero experience with PSW125.

I am a fan of the RTi series, though. I own all of these speakers, and they are in various setups around the house.

not a fan of the surrounds if you plan on doing atmos...dipole/bipole speakers are generally NOT recommended...but to each their own...

Any speaker set do you recommend for atmos?

Can I still use these speakers as 5.2 and make it 5.2.2 with 2 more Atmos enabled speakers ceiling mounted?

Any audioholics, suggestions please..

Thank you

Thanks for the update. I think I am better off buying something like this, Polk RM6750 [amazon.com]

or this HKTS 30 [newegg.com]

Any input?

Serious thinking about getting this. I have about a 1K budget for speakers + 300ish for a receiver. Is this great for the price range or should i look for something else for a few more bucks?
