Just noticed that these went on sale today while I was price shopping for speakers. This store has return shipping and restocking fees, but if you've made up your mind on the Q300,, then this is a good place to pull the trigger. Many colors and finishes available!

When comparing to Q100 deal, outside the larger woofer on the Q300, and thus going deeper better, anything else to be gained by going with this as opposed to Q100 ones if I am pairing with a large sub already? Would the high notes be better on the Q300 - 80Hz and up? Thanks.

If you have a good Subwoofer, you don't need to get q300 for its ability to go low. You might want it if you listen to HT stuff more than music. A 6.5" driver is about twice as big as 5.25" driver. ( area wise it's about 1.7 times bigger) all this means is that it can play louder in general!

Many prefer Q100s for music and Q300s for HT use. Also many of the high end speakers tend to use 5.25" drivers, could be coincidental but I like to think it's better fit to be more clearer and smoother and faster.

Q700's are also on sale for 399.99 (each), I bought 2 of these as front with Q600c as center and Q100 as surround
