Constructed with Grade CCA wire (Copper-Clad Aluminum). Aluminum wire requires a larger wire gauge than copper wire to carry the same load or current.

This junk is probably equal to 20-gauge copper wire (or thinner)

One last note: A lot of imported Chinese speaker wire includes the insulation when advertising the gauge. I can't say if this stuff is one of them.

18-gauge is quite thin for speaker wire unless it's a short length

This is really thin stuff... Great deal, if you understand your needs and the limitations. Especially be cautious if you're doing longer runs. Fine for basic car audio (usually very short runs) when wiring up a stock system.
Otherwise, you're putting more load on your amp.
It certainly has its place, but the small gauge size does impose limitations.

Can someone with speaker/audio knowledge help me out?

I have these speakers: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-T...tech+z5500

Some of the wires to the speakers are peeling now and the copper is showing. Would i be able to use this wire to replace the cable? Or what is a better option?

Im not at home but this is what the wires and connection look like normally

Edit: Its a 5.1 system and the furthest speakers are about 15-20 feet away.
