Great deal! Looks just like all the others on Amazon, just without any coloring. Picked up two.

I buy the long long-nose plier at hf for fishing and it works great.

How do these differ from just your standard needle-nose pliers?

Darn, can't find many reviews. The split ring tip seems nice but I've heard mixed things about those - some people love em others hate em. I just hope this thing doesn't rust like crazy.

Is this dead btw? Shows $9 even for in-store pickup

The deal is definitely dead now. Hopefully they ship for those of us that ordered!

Dang... wish I had seen the deal alert earlier - I misplaced my phone so didn't see it until too late apparently. Been looking for a decent set of pliers for cheap. This would have fit the bill. Oh well...

These are likely made by Danco. The main difference for me is the line cutter located on the side of the pliers. Cuts any line including braid easily. That's not always the case with your run of the mill toolbox pliers/wirecutters. Assuming they are made by Danco, you can buy replacement cutter blades from them. Although, in this case, it would be cheaper to buy a spare set of these if you can still find them at $6 or less.

$9 isn't horrible for a set like this. I actually prefer the aluminum ones with the tether since I kayak fish, but these are not bad looking for the price.

Yea $9 isn't too bad at this price it seems. I'm a bit cautious of the corrosion resistance claim though... I could see these rusting out fast.

As far as tethering - it looks like these have a couple holes in the handle that you could attach to a tether or paracord, etc.
