Ugh, not sure if Lowes is going to come through with the Google Wifi I paid $225 for, but I hear this and the Orbi are better options.

Had velop for a week, went back. Found it to be quite unreliable, got Eero instead and has worked much better also the plug looks much cleaner than the nodes form velop and orbi

Good luck. They already canceled my order.

Yes. It's an issue with the distribution company. Call Lowes to make sure you get a refund.

For me it was Orbi given more Ethernet ports I need for Ooma phone, Arlo, Garage door opener among other things.

Title is wrong. The Velop system is NOT AC6600!
Each node is AC2200. You do NOT add them up if you have a 3 pack and it turns into AC6600 LOL!
B&H Photo's product listing for the Velops is so stupid.
They name the 2 pack AC4400 and 1 pack AC2200. smh /facepalm

Anyways, I beta tested the Velop system last year before it was released (I'm allowed to say this now with the NDA).
I like it, works great in my home, very stable and fast. I have the master node connected to a 16 port switch that all my rooms wire up to.
Resetting a node and readding them is a pain but the system is good. App keeps getting better by adding more features and regular firmware updates too.

Don't get Orbi. I returned mine a few months ago. The satellite had connection drop issues. Check their official forum. A lot of people had the same issue like mine. IMHO mesh is not stable. Better get a single router or unifi.
