I'm not sure, but at the very least I'm sure you can create a SmartApp alert to notify or text you if it goes off. Not sure what other feature it can have that I would need...

I can also confirm that it works with SmartThings. Although it took me many attempts to get them to pair with my system. Not sure why.

Yes it is SmartThings compatible. I have 2 paired in and they work with the built in Smart Home Monitor - Smoke.
