Several games on sale, these collector's editions come in a steelbook with
  • Game on disc
  • Soundtrack on disc
  • Art book style game manual
  • Art card
Could be nice filler presents for under the tree.

Not available online for shipping but availability in-store seems good.

$1.97 each:
Awesomenauts [gamestop.com]
Thomas Was Alone [gamestop.com]
Jotun Valhalla Edition [gamestop.com]
Punch Club [gamestop.com]
Stories: The Path of Destinies [gamestop.com]

Their pickup system is straight garbage. Never have I encountered a store like Gamestop with so many cancelled things because it was "lost" or "not the actual item" at the store. C'mon. I wish this company would die already. ANYTHING has to be better than what it is.

In for one Smilie I've had bad luck w their pick-up system in the past (items appear available, notification comes back later that it isn't) but I'm crossing my fingers. Thanks!

I bought a few of these maybe 6 months ago for 10$ each which I felt like was a good deal at the time. Many of these titles I'm a huge fan of. Most cost at least that much for the digital version as well. The packaging is very nice. These feel like well put together collectors items. For 2$ this is a bonkers deal if you could actually find any near you. I'd buy up any I could find that I don't have just because I like the packaging and the art that much.

Yup, I bought a few when they were on sale for $10. Then a few months later they were going for $5 each, but sold out pretty quickly. Now they're another 50% off!

Axiom Verge is another steelbook available in stores. It's not on the website but you can ask an employee to search it in-store and see who (possibly) has one nearby.

Worth a shot. Ordered Guacamelee for pickup. If it somehow isn't canceled, I'll be sure to ask if they have any others in-stock when I pickup.
Thanks, OP.

Earlier this year, I lucked out getting Axiom Verge for $5, but I had to contact the developer to give me a working code. Would bite on a couple of these, but of course they're not in stock, as PC games never are at my store.

If you buy Nuclear Throne, all of the codes are invalid. You'll need to send a photo of your receipt and a photo of your key to The Indie Box and they'll send you a new one.

Song of the Deep for $2.97.

I always wonder if the employees sometimes see the price scan and just decide to buy it themselves and say it's OOS.

But then again, most old stock is kept locked up in the back, so even if you did just pop in without reserving they can still pull the same shenanigans.
