Good: does include USB type c thunderbolt with DP 1.2 and 4K 60hz output
Bad: RAM are soldered and there's no 16gb model? so you are limited to 8gb ram

You sure it has Thunderbolt?

I'm not seeing it listed in the specs and the only mention I see on the page is a review listing the lack of it as a con.

Would be a neat ultralight+eGpu candidate if it did though. (albeit Lenovo would possibly be killing the yoga 920)

This is not thunderbolt 3 and I am not sure why you guys have the confusion. I have clearly mentioned that this is Type-C GEN 1 Port and for TB3, it has to be a GEN 2 port.

However, this supports DP 1.2 functionality and using a Type-C to DP converter or cable, you can easily connect it to a 4K display at 60 fps.

Yeah, I guess we are all still very confused about the usb type c all the different variations... I thought that you only can have video out in thunderbolt and if not then it's only data transfer?

I would have jumped on this one if only they had a 16gb ram model...I have a need for at least 16gb ram (32gb even better if I can find an ultraportable like that)

also I don't like the 39wh battery which will probably gives no more than 6-7 hr of effective usage.
