You may get Brand New via GreenToe for $959 like others have. Research GreenToe if you dont know, it's where you offer what you are willing to pay then they forward your best offer to Authorized seller in US. The unknown seller at that time will respond with their best price and you can go fo back and forth 1-2 times. Accept or Pass is your choice. Later on you will know who the seller is. Adorama is pretty active there. Like others i have also gotten few lens from them via Greeentoe. Damn I sound like a sales person....but had to since you paid about same for refurb.

If anyone is looking for the Sigma 85mm Art, keep an eye on sigma outlet. I picked up a refurb for $899 shipped, but it appears they are now OOS.

NONE of the lenses shown are any way near my budget! I can't believe people would even spend $999/$1099 or even $699!? My Canon T3I with a couple lenses did not cost THAT much! Some people are happy with a Honda CRV....some have to have a Caddie!?

These are art lenses (wide apertute, extremely sharp) meant for professionals or pro hobbist. Canon T3i was a capable camera but that's not the body people are putting these lenses on. These are for people who have a Nikon D750,810, canon 6D etc

At least someone around here has a sense of humor.

Good deals, OP - these Sigma Art lenses are great, some even exceed the quality of Canon's best from my experience (wife is a pro photog and has a few Art lenses)

Art 35mm f1.4 is a gorgeous lens...very popular with portrait photographers and newborn photographers. Great for landscapes too.

Been thinking about slightly shorter lens to compliment my Canon 135 f/2L. Tad bit long for indoors and when it doesn't involve headshots.

My only wish is Sigma made something similar to Canon 16-35mm for FF bodies. Their 12-24 would be great if it was f/2.8 (but I'm sure it'll be a $2K+ lens easily).

One day I'll own the Canon 200 f/2L laugh out loud

Anyone know if the 50-100mm f1.8 misfocuses on 80d? Read that the 18-35 doesn't work well with DPAF and was wonderinf if the 50-100 is the same?

its about the value and the image quality.
if you are not able to appreciate the quality it provides, for the value, your kit hardly worth $200 after 5~8 year, but those lens will still be above 60% of your purchased value.
good lens holds value.
giving you an example, my canon 70 200 f2.8is ii, purchased 2012 at $1800. five years now, i can easily sell it on craig for $1200+. even the first generation that is 15yrs old, it is still selling around $900 45% msrp.
