I would have never thought anyone would have been interested in the expensive one. Power to you Ben. You got as many votes in a couple of hours as I did all day!

Thank you mr. BargainHunter, both votes are from me lol I always thumbs up my own posts from mine and my roommate's accounts. I'd love to have the Bounty but my roommate made a good point that I should try the cheap one and make sure I'd stick with it first

I second that. I use a gro quick heating cable to start in my home made boxes. If I had it to do again I would use a heating mat. The best thing is getting the soil to 74F. Then everything is smooth sailing. I bet by next year you will have used your own kitchen compost to start your plants! Have fun Ben.

These can be found sometimes for a steal 2nd hand, Craigslist, etc. If you're not afraid of getting murdered and are OK with either buying a pod kit or making your own, I'd recommend that.

I picked up a 7 pod LED unit for $40, used for one grow season. Looked brand new. No fancy wifi or any of that garbage, but it works perfect.

Or you could make a COB led grow light that would way out perform these obsolete single diode blue red white led lights for a fraction of the price...

Or i don't give a crap to research all that and put together a nice looking tank, and would rather an automatic system to grow some basil and parsley.
